Guinea Hens On the bottom of each Guinea Hen is a note from French artist Heidi Calliard. The translation is as follows: Having been fascinated for more than thirty years by the originality and the elegance of the guinea hens that run free in my garden, it finally came to me that by immortalizing them in a harmonious and timeless object I could convey my love for the guineas to others. --Heidi C.

Heart Plates (left): The verse on the plate reads: "This heart which you do now behold, Will break when you these lies unfold. Even so my heart, with lovesick pain, So wouned is will break in twain." This plate is one of the three sections of a "pocket puzzle" made in the early 1800s. It appears to be an offer of marriage. To whom and from whom is unknown. The folded square piece of paper appears to have held a ring within.

Colonial Muse Plates (right): Commissioned by AHI for the Wright Designer Show House proceeds from plate sales benefit the Colonial Theatre's Education and Outreach program. Built to be "New England's most modern and perfectly appointed theatre" the Colonial Theater has been a landmark on Keene's Main Street since 1923. The Dancing Muses are seen bordering the interiors of the theater and represents the beautiful renovation that involved the work of over 300 supporters.
