Three Dancing Muse PlatesDANCING MUSE PLATES: Proceeds to benefit the Educations & Outreach Programs at the Colonial Theater.

These Dancing Muse Plates represent a collaborative design effort between Ann Henderson Interiors and Neptune 1 Studios. Commissioned by AHI for the Colonial Theatre's 2009 Wright Designer Show House, the signed and numbered limited edition plates have a first production number of 70.

The plates are hand made, created from a photograph of the Dancing Muse murals in the clerestory of the historic Colonial Theatre and photographs of other architectural fragments from the theatre interior including the hand stencilled damask walls and acanthus leaf border. These elements are decoupaged on to glass plates which have a hand-painted border of gold combined with the signature Colonial teal blue. Neptune 1 Studios has created similar tributes to historic interiors throughout New England including Marblehead, MA. The plates are available exclusively through AHI which will donate 50% of the proceeds to the Education and Outreach Programs of the Colonial Theatre. This important program enables area school children to experience the arts through specially designed curriculum and live performances in the theatre. The Colonial Theatre interiors were renovated in the 1990's and the building was added to the New Hampshire Registry of Historic Places in 2004.

The plates measure 16"L x 6.5"W. Plates are $140.00 each and can be elegantly wrapped and insured and sent as a gift anywhere in the United States for an additional $15.00.

Ann as co-chair of the event helped to plan the project that benefited the Colonial Theatre’s Education and Outreach Program. The house was featured in the January/February 2010 issue of New Hampshire Home Magazine.
